The City of Novato Parks, Recreation & Community Services Department offers a wide range of recreational and social programs and activities for all ages. From sports leagues, parks and facility rentals, to youth classes and senior events, we manage a multitude of programs and facilities for the entire community to enjoy. We believe that these opportunities have the power to impact every community through health and wellness, conservation and social equity.
The Novato Gymnastics Center is home to children of all ages and the Novato Gymnastics Team. The Gymnastics Center offers quality instruction in one of the best equipped training facilities in the entire Bay Area. With an experienced coaching staff, apparatus and equipment, there is an emphasis on safety, technique, and foundation of skills. We believe you will also find a bright, colorful, and friendly environment for children to enjoy and thrive in. From movement education and pre-school gymnastics, to recreational and competitive gymnastics, we offer some of the best instruction around.
In 1999, the City of Novato completed a major renovation of a former hardware store and opened the Novato Gymnastics Center. Since then, generations of gymnasts have participated in programs offered at the Novato Gymnastics Center. Centrally located in Downtown Novato, the Gymnastics Center offers convenient access from Highway 101, and to numerous businesses around Novato! This year, we honor the 25th Anniversary of the Novato Gymnastics Center, and plan to commemorate this with the Silver Celebration on October 19, 2024!
Along the way, Novato Gymnastics has been recognized for its programs and facility. More recently, the Pacific Sun recognized the Novato Gymnastics Center as the Best Children’s Indoor Sports Center for the third year in a row, and sixth time overall in this category!
