Camp Information
Considerations for Campers Ages 3-5: All participants MUST be able to do the following independently: use the restroom (including toileting and hand washing), separate from parent/guardian, follow the group plan, and participate in group activities. Camp is best for participants who have previous gymnastics class experience and those who have experience in a structured preschool setting. Please be sure your child wears clothing that they can easily manage when using the restroom on their own.
What to Bring, Half-Day Camp (9:30 AM - 12:30 PM): Participants should bring a bag/backpack with a snack and water bottle. Younger participants may consider bringing a change of clothes. We kindly ask that you avoid packing food containing nuts or peanut butter.
What to Bring, Full Day Camp (10:00 AM - 3:00 PM): Participants should bring a bag/backpack with a snack, lunch and water bottle. We kindly ask that you avoid packing food containing nuts or peanut butter.
What to Wear: We recommend comfortable athletic style clothing and shoes (i.e. leotard, leggings, t-shirt, sweatshirt and tennis shoes). You may consider warm layers on cooler days for outdoor activities. Please be sure that young participants (ages 3-5) wear clothing that they can easily manage when using the restroom on their own.
Daily Activities: Daily camp activities include gymnastics, obstacle courses, fitness, movement education, arts & crafts, games and outdoor play.
Please note, gymnastics instruction during camp is less formal than curriculum based instruction offered during regular/ongoing classes. Camps provide a wonderful opportunity for your child to practice their skills, build confidence, develop strength and do lots of gymnastics!
