Big & Little (12-23 months with adult)

A 45 minute class for children ages 12-23 months accompanied by an adult. Emphasis on movement exploration, parent-toddler bonding, and socialization with other children of the same age. If you are interested in meeting families with toddlers, this is the class for you! We are building community while promoting movement and play.

Little Stars (2 years with adult)

A 45 minute class for two-year-olds accompanied by an adult. Emphasis on physical milestones like running, jumping with two feet, balancing on one foot, and walking up and down inclines. We also introduce important group learning skills like following the group plan and taking turns to prepare children for the transition to Yellow Stars/Preschool Gymnastics.

Preschool Gymnastics (3-4 years)

Join our amazing Gymnastics Staff for movement education, gymnastics instruction and fun! In this structured class, your child will get to run, jump, roll, climb, balance, spin and go upside down. This class promotes improved gross motor skill development and movement confidence. In addition, our teachers emphasize social skills like following the group plan, taking turns, listening when the teacher is talking and following directions. Curriculum includes: locomotor skills (i.e. running, jumping, skipping), progressions for forward and backwards rolls, handstands and cartwheels, basic bar skills and trampoline safety.

Tumbling Tots (Up to 5 years with adult, drop-in)

Join us for play! Tumbling Tots is a 45 min. open gym class designed for play, movement exploration and socialization! Staff will set-up a variety of obstacle courses and learning stations using gymnastics equipment and props. While Novato Gymnastics Staff will be on-site to supervise, Staff will not be teaching or facilitating the class. An adult is REQUIRED to stay for the duration of the program and be responsible for their child/children. Register in advance (novato.org/regforfun) to secure your spot or sign-up at time of arrival. Please note, this class is limited to a maximum of 16 participants.

General Rules/Expectations:

• No more than 2 children per supervising adult. Participation limited to children 12 months – 5 years. No additional children may be out in the gymnastics activity space.

• Adults are responsible for closely monitoring and supervising their children.

• Adults are responsible for keeping their children in designated play areas.

• No food or beverages in the Gymnastics activity space.

Single Class Drop-In: Novato Resident Fee $16, Non-Resident Fee $17.60

  • Evening Tumbling Tots will be limited to the gymnastics activity space on the backside of our facility. When you arrive, please walk through the lobby, past the restrooms to the back room.
