Tools of the Trade

We always enjoy the smiles of our participants and staff using the variety of equipment and mats we have to work with. It is so valuable to have the tools to help them learn, and to have variety to keep the learning fresh and fun!

The images above are a few of the newest mat shapes and equipment at the Gymnastics Center. The staff are always excited to challenge our participants through a wide range of options, and these new pieces will only add to the curriculum. We hope these colorful additions will inspire and challenge all of our participants and their bright future!

Best of Marin!

The Novato Gymnastics Center has been named the Best Children’s Indoor Sports Center of 2022 by the Pacific Sun! This is the fourth time that Novato Gymnastics has received this honor, and we are so grateful for the love from our local community!

As a division of the City of Novato Parks, Recreation and Community Service, it has been a joy and privilege to serve this community at the Gymnastics Center since 1999. We have seen generations of children participate in movement education, preschool, recreational and competitive gymnastics opportunities, that offer a healthy foundation to an active lifestyle. We could not do it without your participation and support, and look forward to working with the Novato community for years to come!

Thanks for helping us #BeYourBest!

Be Your Best!

We are grateful for the chance to engage and encourage our young participants to learn through gymnastics! At Novato Gymnastics, some of the best qualities we can teach gymnasts is to maximize their effort and potential! Whether a chance to enjoy movement or accomplishing a skill, we aim to empower these youngsters to reach their potential here in the gym and beyond. What better way to celebrate this concept than to share effort and achievement with those around us! Over the next couple of weeks, you may notice images, posts, and signage centered around a special theme and all our participants.

The Start of 2022

2022 has started off with a lot of activity at a hectic pace!

We continue to follow all public health protocols directed by Marin County Health and Human Services and the City of Novato, and monitor our own practices and adjust for increased safety. Please remember that masks are required for all at the Novato Gymnastics Center, and participants should stay home if experiencing any cold or flu-like symptoms.

You may have noticed the increased traffic in the Gymnastics Center parking lot. While there has been a significant increase of visitors, we want to remind you to tread and drive carefully as you arrive and leave. Keep an eye out for pedestrians, including small children that may be difficult to see. Pedestrians should be aware of cars pulling in and out of parking spaces, and increased traffic during late afternoon hours. We have also arranged for more robust barricades to better identify the Curative testing site, and make it safer for all.

We look forward to continuing to work with all our participants in the upcoming weeks. Thank you for your awareness and cooperation during these challenging times.
